Two firefighters use a guiding rope to steady the lowering of an accident victim with the ladder truck, after the victim was rescued from the top of the tower behind them. This was a rescue simulation put on by the firefighters for their open house on Saturday afternoon on a cold and snowy afternoon. The Fire Department also held other demonstrations, a barbecue, and people could try on gear inside the hall as well.
