CP Holiday Train to feature online concert for COVID-19 relief

Canadian Pacific (CP) Railway announced a special online concert, “At Home with the CP Holiday Train,” that will air Thursday May 14, 2020 at 2 p.m. Mountain time on the CP Holiday Train Facebook page to raise awareness for COVID-19 relief.

Canadian Pacific (CP) Railway announced a special online concert, “At Home with the CP Holiday Train,” that will air Thursday May 14, 2020 at 2 p.m. Mountain time on the CP Holiday Train Facebook page to raise awareness for COVID-19 relief.

CP Holiday Train favourites Alan Doyle and Kelly Prescott will host the musical event, revisiting magical moments of the program that has raised $17.6 million and 4.7 million pounds of food for food banks across our communities since 1999, including an annual stop in Weyburn. (Shown in the photo above is the Weyburn stop in December).

The video will include appearances by Alan Doyle, Kelly Prescott, Terri Clark, Dallas Smith, Jim Cuddy, Sam Roberts, Odds, The Trews, Meghan Patrick, Madeline Merlo, JoJo Mason, Willy Porter and Tanika Charles.

Earlier this month, CP donated $1 million to four North American charities working on the front lines to help people impacted by COVID-19. In Canada, CP will donate $350,000 to The Frontline Fund and $250,000 to Food Banks Canada.
