Work crews in front sunk a piling, while crews in the background worked on removing hazardous materials from the Weyburn Junior High building in preparation for the demolition of the building this fall. Once the junior high building site is cleared, construction will begin on a new elementary school for Weyburn, which will take in the elementary students from Souris, Queen Elizabeth and Haig Schools once it opens.
