Andrea Robertson, CEO and president of the STARS air ambulance (front right), settled in at the Cugnet family table as they won the bid to host her, during the “Evening With STARS” fundraiser supper on April 9 at McKenna Hall. The family includes from front centre and going clockwise, David Cugnet, Tim Cugnet, Craig Cugnet, Jo Bannatyne-Cugnet, Jennifer Cugnet, Matt Cugnet and Isabelle Cugnet. Jo was the main organizer of the fundraiser supper event along with Melanie Sorensen of the Weyburn and District Hospital Foundation. Andrea was the guest speaker, along with a trauma team from STARS, who did a question-and-answer session for the audience. The final dollar figures aren't in yet, but the live and silent auctions raised about $17,000, and this doesn't include the funds raised through ticket sales and other sources.
