Cutting a retirement cake at the Co-op

Jerry Ponto started slicing up a special cake for his retirement as wife Rosemary watched on Thursday afternoon. Jerry has worked at the Co-op in Weyburn for 37 years, after first starting out in the hardware store when it was located on Second Street. Many current and former board members and friends from the community came by to wish Jerry well on his retirement. He and his wife plan to do some travelling and spending time with their daughters and grandchildren, and will continue to make Weyburn their home.
