A blizzard is buffeting must of Saskatchewan this morning, with winds speeds being clocked well in excess of 100 kilometres an hour.
First Avenue (Highway 13) from Government Road to 16th Street is closed. This is due to downed power lines. Two large trees had blown over due to the wind, roughly 1 AM on Thursday morning.
Crews are working to clear the scene. According to SaskPower Crews on site, there is no ETA for when the scene will be cleared.

Harptree, Scout Lake, Willow Bunch, Fife Lake, Lisieux, Rockglen, Big Beaver, Coronach, Benchough, Ogema, Viceroy, Kayville, Ormiston UPDATE. Status: Crews working to restore transmission line outage, no ETR.
