Families filled the tables at the Allie Griffin auditorium for the Weyburn Public Library's annual pumpkin carving contest on Oct. 29. There were many pumpkins entered for the judging, with prizes awarded in four categories. The pumpkins were lit up with candles so everyone could see how they looked before they took them home to put them on display for Halloween day.
