A group of volunteers cleaned up the grounds in Memorial Park adjacent to Weyburn City Hall on Saturday morning, as they were part of a large contingent for the annual Mayor's Cleanup Day downtown. The cleanup is held each spring to kickoff neighbourhood cleanup efforts throughout the city, and to encourage residents and business owners to do a spring cleanup around their own properties. The City of Weyburn provided garbage bags and tools for the cleanup, and provided a barbecue lunch for all of the volunteers.
