A burst of rockets lit up the skies brilliantly over Weyburn on Monday night, as the City of Weyburn put on a fireworks show to help celebrate Canada Day. The fireworks had been preceded by a thunderstorm with a lot of thunder and lightning about an hour before the fireworks went off.
