COVID vaccine

There is a very limited supply of the COVID-19 vaccine currently available in the communities of Weyburn, Midale, Radville and Bengough. The Saskatchewan Health Authority has requested that residents don’t line up at McKenna Hall for a vaccine, as only those who have been called by the SHA for an appointment should attend for the vaccines.

SHA has a list of those residents who would be eligible to receive the shots at this time, and the shots will be based on prioritization.

Vaccinations are being provided to priority populations including long-term care residents, personal care home residents, First Nations residents over the age of 40 and certain health care workers. Seniors over the age of 70 are also eligible.

If you qualify, you will be contacted directly with more details.

When additional supplies are received for the Weyburn area, more information will be shared with the community on how and where to book their immunization.
