Both the head and heels of this steer were caught with a loop as other contestants awaiting their turns watched the action, during the team roping jackpot held for the Midale Rodeo Association on Saturday at the Midale fair grounds. The rodeo weekend action also included bullriding on Friday evening, and a ladies barrel racing jackpot on Sunday. This was held simultaneously with the Pioneer Echoes annual event at the Heritage Village, which featured an antique tractor parade and then an old-time threshing demonstration, held on both Saturday and Sunday at the fair grounds.
