Several residents gathered to discuss the possible future for the Communithon fundraiser, at a meeting held Wednesday evening at the Credit Union's Community Room. The fundraiser will be held for member agencies of the United Way in the Weyburn area, and a followup meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 29 in the Community Room to formalize a volunteer leadership committee to organize Communithon and any other fundraising events. Any person who has an interest in joining this committee is asked to attend. There will be more details about Wednesday's meeting in the Weyburn Review on Jan. 23.
