The Aurora Borealis, or the Northern Lights, were partially visible in the Weyburn area over the weekend, as a result of solar activity that made the lights visible down into the northern United States.
Areas to the north of Weyburn, such as central and northern Saskatchewan, had much brighter views of the phenomenon, without the clouds of an incoming rain storm as Weyburn had on this evening.
