Pangman residents asked to put hearts in windows

Pangman — Over the next weeks to come, Pangman residents will be hanging out in their homes due to the important of social distancing while helping to reduce the spread of Covid-19. There is a request for residents to put a heart(s) in your window and when people are outside for a walk, they can search and count all the hearts on the windows.

To help with the safety of the staff at the Pangman Co-op Pantry during the coronavirus, one can get a gift card and take it to the store, or phone in your order and they will deliver the groceries to your home.

Some of the residents of the Deep South Personal Care home participated in the High Roller tournament on March 23, with Ruby Gosling and Joyce Hval tied for first place with their score each of 245 points. Twyla Boldt came in second place with 190 points and Betty Hildebaugh took third with her score of 135 points.

Word was received on March 19 of the passing away of Leroy Jackson, age 81, of Regina. Leroy, formerly of the Parry district, and his wife Bev farmed and raised their family of three sons, Gregg, Corey, Craig and their daughter Shannon. Leroy and Bev retired to Regina in 2012. No formal funeral service will be held at this time.

Mervin William Millsap of Plunkett, Sask., age 76, passed away on March 23. Merv was born and raised in Ceylon and married Margaret Bassman of Khedive.
