Planning for graduation starts at Weyburn area rural schools

Rural schools in the Weyburn region are preparing for their graduation ceremonies, which are being held in May and June. Graduation for Pangman will be held on Friday, May 7. Graduating are Tye Froh, Noel Muckalt and Chantel Colbow.

On Saturday, May 8, Radville Regional High School will be holding their Las Vegas-themed grad. Ceremonies will start at 7 p.m. Graduating are Alex Bjork, David Carr, Kayla Ferguson, Jaclyn Hay, Grant Jensen, Jacklyn Koszman, Nicole Labbie, Rebecca Labbie, Tiffany Martin, Natasha Mazenc, Brendan Mierow, Aleida Oberholzer, Aaron Pederson, Megan Trenouth, Zach Turcotte, Aaron Tytlandsvik, and Cole Wallin.

Yellow Grass School will be holding their grad on Friday, May 14. Their theme is "History in the Making". The banquet will be held at the rink at 5:30 p.m. with speeches to follow. At 8:30 p.m. the dance will begin at Yellow Grass School. Graduating are Jenna Robertson, Robert Nelson, Alana Nelson, Janelle Whitrow, Jennifer Whitrow, Richard Hennie, Colton Neithercut, Brice Marshall, Katlin Lenz, and Mackenzie Metheral.

Ogema High School will be holding their graduation on Saturday, May 15. The supper begins at 5:30 p.m. with the ceremonies to follow at 7:30 p.m. Their theme for this year is "As Time Goes By". The graduates are Alyssa Fogal, Jacqueline Karle, Dalton Lemon, Benjamin Struthers, and Adam Weikum.

Vibank Regional School's grad will be held at the Vibank Recreation Center at 7 p.m. on May 28. Graduating are Daniel Hoffman, Taylor Dunlop, Cassandra Gerein, Sara Ruse, Matthew Kary, Stephanie Reiss, Matthew Hamilton, Dexter Young, Kaitlyn Thiessen, Shelby Fink, Brook Hume, Dylan Perras, Landon Uhrich, Hayden Lockert, Rebecca Carson, Jocelyn Fraser, Mason Resch, Jenna Harrison and Thomas Kary. Ceremonies are by invitation only.

Midale Central School will be holding their grad on Friday, June 11. There will be a banquet at 5 p.m. at the Midale rink. Ceremonies begin at 7 p.m., which will be held in the Midale School gymnasium. Graduates are Jordan Callaghan, Lidia Friesen, Galven Krueger, Tiana Littlejohn, Logan Martinson, Jarika Penny, Tannis Scharnatta, Jonathan Tomiski, and Erick Vandenhurk.

Gladmar Regional School will be holding their grad on Saturday, June 12. The banquet begins at 4:30 p.m. with the exercises following at 7 p.m. The graduates are Kyle Ashworth, Jarrett Hoffart, Kayla Nyhus, Dane Thue, Sorren Thue, Vanessa Thue, and Ethan Woitas.

Fillmore "33" Central School will be holding their grad on Friday, June 25. The banquet will be held at the Fillmore Catholic Church at 5 p.m. Ceremonies are to follow at 7 p.m. in the school's gymnasium. Their grad quote is, "The Best Way to Predict the Future is to Create it". The graduates are Hazel Allan, Shantal Allan, Erin Clarke, Ian Dunham, Dylan Griep, Skye Griep, Travis Lubiens, Bryan Nixon, Amanda Ogden, Sasha Richard, and Helyn van Staveren.

On Friday, June 25, Milestone School will be holding their grad. There will be a banquet starting at 5 p.m. at the Elks Hall. The ceremonies will follow at 8 p.m. at the rink. The graduates are Sawyer Baker, Russell Glaze, Amanda Gutheil, Victoria Gutheil, Jessica Larson, Nadya McKim, Landon Minto, Deanna Summers, Galilee Thompson and Rebecca Wolfmueller.

Stoughton Central School will be holding their grad on Saturday, June 26. Their theme for grad is "In the end it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years". The banquet begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Stoughton Legion Hall. In the school gymnasium, exercises will take place at 7:30 p.m., with a grand march to follow at 9:30 p.m. Graduates are Gordon Carnegie, John Charles, Trent Corbin, Linnea Donnelly, Victoria Fraser, Brandi Kalynuk, Krystle Klassen, Kelsey Konjolka, Matthew Miskolczi, Chanel Parisier, Nala Tschetter, Robbie Umpherville, and Meagan Woroschuk.
