RBC celebrates 100th, donates to Hospital Foundation

RBC, through RBC Foundation, announced a $50,000 donation to the Weyburn & District Hospital Foundation to mark the 100th anniversary of its Weyburn Branch. RBC's donation is in support of the capital campaign to build a new hospital in Weyburn.

The Weyburn Branch of RBC celebrated its 100th Anniversary on May 4, when RBC representatives presented Weyburn & District Hospital Foundation representatives with a cheque for $50,000 from RBC Foundation. The donation is in support of the WDHF's fundraising campaign to build a new hospital in Weyburn. RBC, through RBC Foundation, announced a $50,000 donation to the Weyburn & District Hospital Foundation to mark the 100th anniversary of its Weyburn Branch. RBC's donation is in support of the capital campaign to build a new hospital in Weyburn.

"Weyburn needs a new hospital. The present building is 60 years old," said Kim Thorson, Chairperson, Weyburn & District Hospital Foundation. "This generous contribution from RBC helps us move towards making a new hospital for Weyburn a reality, and ensuring ongoing quality health care for our community."

Being a part of Weyburn for 100 years is an important milestone that gives RBC ample reason to celebrate while extending a heartfelt thank you to the residents of Weyburn for their business.
