Day of Mourning

Chloe McCoy lit a candle as part of the remembrance ceremony for workers who have been killed or injured on the job, at the Day of Mourning ceremonies held on Sunday afternoon at the Tommy Douglas Centre. The ceremonies paid homage to the 48 workers who have died on the job in the past year in Saskatchewan, and speakers talked of their own experiences in helping people deal with injuries and death in the workplace. The ceremonies were hosted by the Weyburn and District Labour Council.
