Terry Chapelsky, left, chair of the Rotary Golf Ball Drop committee, presented two of the three winners of the ball drop with their cheques on Thursday at the Legion Hall. The winners were Karen Worman, first place prize of $5,000, and Gladys Emisch, second place prize of $3,000. Club president Deana Mainil will deliver the third-place prize of $1,000 to winner Marcel Van Staveren, who was busy with harvesting. The Golf Ball Drop was held at the Woodlawn Golf Course in Estevan on Sept. 15. The proceeds of the event will to the STARS Air Ambulance, and to the Weyburn and Estevan Rotary Clubs for their projects.
