Sask. medical students raising funds for food banks

Resident Doctors of Saskatchewan, which represents medical school graduates now doing their residencies, and the Student Medical Society of Saskatchewan, which represents students still in medical school, are doing a fundraiser for food banks across Saskatchewan.

After a successful fundraising event to help La Loche and surrounding communities, Resident Doctors of Saskatchewan and Student Medical Society of Saskatchewan (SMSS) have partnered to launch the “Feeding Saskatchewan” campaign to raise funds for Food Banks of Saskatchewan.

They are asking residents of Saskatchewan to join them in donating to the campaign which runs until June 22, 2020.

The students have an initial goal of raising $35,000, which would feed all users of the food banks in the province for a week. To donate, check out one of their online links, listed here:
