Sisters Katie and Jewel Keca shared some love with their horses, Phoenix and Ora, as Ora tried to get a bite of Jewel's apple. The girls are from the Niagara, Ont., region, and are riding their horses across Canada to raise money for the Lions Foundation for guide dogs for the blind. They rode into Weyburn on Thursday, and hearing about the Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show, decided to walk their horses up to the fair grounds to see the show before they headed west. This is the second half of their cross-Canada journey, as they rode from the East coast up to Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., two years ago, took a year off, and then this year began from Kenora with the goal to ride to Vancouver, B.C. Those who wish to donate towards their campaign to provide guide dogs can go to kecingcanada.com. To follow the girls on their journey, go to instagram.com/kecingcanada, on Facebook and on YouTube, also under kecingcanada.
