Souris Elementary School had its Remembrance Day assembly on November 7th.
Representatives from the Weyburn Legion were the Colour Guards at the ceremony. The ceremony started with the Colour Party Marching in Colours.
Nicole is a student at the school. She read a poem she wrote called "We Will Remember You" to the students, staff and guests at the assembly.
The grades 4/5 and 5/6 classes sang "Song of Peace".
The grade 4/5 class read a poem called "In Gratitude of Silence" by Debbie Holick.
Pastor Victoria Mwamasika was the guest speaker for the ceremony.
