Souris pie in face

Students from the Grades 3/4 class laugh as principal Maryanne Kotylak and their teacher get pies in the face as a reward for their class bringing in the most food of any class for the FCC’s “Drive Away Hunger” food collection recently. The school was challenged to bring in food, with the class bringing in the most food earning the prize of doing the pie-in-the-face of the principal and their teacher. The class brought in about 101 meals worth of food, with Souris as a whole providing 421 meals for the Salvation Army’s food bank. Farm Credit calculated one pound as one meal, and $1 as equal to three meals.
