Clinical psychologist Dr. Jody Carrington gave a day-long presentation to the teachers of the Holy Family Catholic School Division on Friday at St. Michael School in Weyburn. The teachers were joined by a number of colleagues from Southeast Cornerstone School Division for the day. Dr. Carrington's theme was "Staff well-being: compassion fatigue and trauma informed practice". She notes that speaking to educators is one of her favourite activities, as "they have the power to change the trajectory of a life every single day."
