Teacher Dara Uhren was presented with a 10-year banner and a book about Terry Fox by Terry’s older brother, Fred Fox, during a visit to Queen Elizabeth School on Sept. 11. Fred shared his memories about his brother, and about how Terry began his Marathon of Hope in 1980 but was unable to complete it, and urged the students to pursue their dreams and to never give up. Fred also visited St. Michael School in Weyburn, and went on to visit Milestone School that afternoon as part of his tour through Saskatchewan.
