This view of the carbon tax convoy was taken by photographer Bill Allen of Ralph from the cab of one of the transports, looking down the long line of trucks waiting to go as they marshalled on 22nd Avenue South on Thursday morning. There were about 400 trucks that rolled in from Estevan and another 200 or so from Weyburn (including Carnduff and Arcola), and they joined some 700 trucks registered at Regina for an unofficial world record-sized convoy. They all converged on the Queensbury Centre in Regina for a rally against the federal carbon tax, and in support of building pipelines, along with opposition to Bill C-69 and Bill C-48.
