Veterinarian Kristin Caldwell held a stethoscope in place while a boy from the Tatagwa Kidz Kare listened to the heartbeat of a young kitten at the Prairie Animal Health Centre on Oct. 2. The vet clinic held an open house, and the day care children came over to meet some young kittens, as well as a variety of small farm animals, such as bunnies, sheep, goats, a miniature pony, ducks and chickens.
