• Visit the James Weir People’s Choice Exhibition in the Allie Griffin Art Gallery, on the lower level of the Weyburn Public Library during normal operating hours, and vote for your favourite piece.
Friday
• The Weyburn Red Wings will host the Humboldt Broncos at Crescent Point Place, with the puck dropping at 7:30 p.m.
• The Weyburn Comprehensive Eagles Junior A boys basketball team will host a home tournament at the Eagle gym.
Saturday-Sunday
• The Weyburn Public Library will hold a family matinee on Saturday at 2 p.m., featuring “The Lorax”.
• The Weyburn Humane Society’s fundraising committee is holding a volunteer information session from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at Microtel Inns and Suites.
Monday
• The Weyburn Public Library is hosting a Family Literacy Day Luau from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on a drop-in basis. Come in and pick up a passport at the front desk, and take part in activities set up around the library promoting family literacy.
Wednesday
• The KAIROS Blanket Exercise will be held at the Weyburn Public Library from 6-8 p.m. The event is free of charge, but preregistration is required as space is limited.
