A group of volunteers worked on cleaning up the animal pens of the Therapeutic Animal Park on Saturday morning at a work bee to prepare for the park’s opening for the season on Sunday, June 9. A volunteer board of directors has taken on the task of looking after the animal park after founder Don Sealy retired from that responsibility last year. The animals will arrive at the park on June 1, and there are activities planned for the grand opening day. There is a need for more volunteers to help the volunteer board of directors operate the park through the season.
