Garry Ness, president of the Weyburn Car Club, presents a cheque for $1,875 to Ed Fischer of the Trossachs Bible Camp, as club director Ken Meckling looks on. The group are in front of Ness's 1949 Mercury Monarch. The funds are proceeds from the annual Car Club’s show-and-shine held in June which had 217 vehicles take part. The funds will help the camp with expenses, including sponsoring children for camp who are not able to pay for themselves. This year, the camp has sponsored 20 children so far to attend. They will hold a family camp on July 26-29, and the Wheatland Community Church will hold a camp there on Aug. 8-11.
