The Weyburn Police Service received an emergency call At about 9:35 p.m. on Monday evening regarding a CP Train colliding with a pedestrian in the 10th Street NE CP yard area.
Weyburn police attended and located one deceased 25 year old male. The CP Police and The Office of the Coroner were called to assist in the investigation.
It appears that the deceased was struck while laying or sitting on the tracks. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS. While the Office of the Coroner will continue to investigate, the death does not appear to be suspicious.
