The Weyburn Police Service have partnered with the Weyburn and District Hospital Foundation to raise money for STARS air ambulance. This fundraising effort began with the “Evening With STARS” event held in the spring, as shown in the two photos above.

To date the community has raised $2,540 to send Police Chief Marlo Pritchard to jail. The arrest will occur at City Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 4:45 p.m.

If $460 can be raised, bringing the grand total of $3,000, the police will also be arresting Fire Chief Simon Almond.
