The Weyburn Primary Health Care Clinic and the Weyburn Health Centre are combining their facilities to provide residents with more consistent, client centered care.

This will take place in the fall of 2021, with a projected opening date of Monday, October 4, at the Weyburn Health Centre located at 36 Fourth Street.

Anyone who is currently a patient with one of the physicians or nurse practitioners at the Weyburn Primary Health Care Clinic in the MNP building will be seeing the same family provider at the Weyburn Health Centre, located on the corner beside The Family Place.

If your family provider is located at the Weyburn Health Centre, there will be no changes to your care.

“During the time of transition, please be patient with us as we all learn what our best practice will be with everyone under one roof along with some minor adjustments to the layout to provide the best patient-focused flow of the facility,” said a memo from Trevor Tessier, director of Primary Health Care, and Faye Hoium, manager of Primary  Health Care, for the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

“We are all so excited about this transition to create a more community-based facility where physicians, nurse practitioners and other health care professionals can work together as a team to provide the best care to you,” said the memo.
