The Weyburn Independent Riders hosted their annual Toy Run on Saturday afternoon, with the HOG (Harley Owners Group), Regina chapter, as guests for the ride to collect and donate toys to the Salvation Army.

The toys are used in the Christmas hampers the Salvation Army gives to children each year who might not otherwise have any Christmas presents.

The Run started out from Douglas Road, went around the perimeter of the city, and ended by driving up Second Street, and then down Third Street from the Court House through the downtown to the South Hill, where the group ended up at River Park.

The toys and donations were presented to the Salvation Army after organizer Laurie Norman gave some brief remarks to the gathered riders. Jennifer Lorinczy of the Salvation Army accepted the toys, and gave a brief Bikers Prayer for those gathered.
