Roy Hardy and Mayor Marcel Roy are shown in happier times, when Hardy began his position as city manager seven months ago. On Friday, the City of Weyburn issued a terse statement saying only, "“In a mutually agreed-upon decision between the city manager and council, it was determined that city manager Roy Hardy will not be continuing his administrative role effective immediately.” No other reasons for Hardy's departure was provided. Leisure Services director Mathew Warren has been appointed as the interim city manager.
