The City of Weyburn will be performing major infrastructure improvements on the intersection of Moore Street and Sims Avenue beginning on Friday, July 19.
The work involves milling and asphalt paving of the intersection of Moore Street and Sims Avenue and is scheduled to take one week.
Access from Highway 39 to Sims Avenue will be closed. Detours are in place to access Sims Ave. from Government Road. S and 1st Avenue S.
The City of Weyburn realizes this will create a significant inconvenience for residents and businesses accessing this block during construction. This work is of vital importance to maintaining infrastructure and every effort will be made to complete the work in a timely and efficient manner.
The City has contracted ASL Paving to complete this milling and paving construction project.
