The drive-through COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Weyburn will be held on Thursday and Friday, April 8 and 9, pending vaccine supplies to keep them open.

City and health officials are asking city and area residents attending the drive-through COVID vaccine clinic to approach the site from downtown, heading southeast down Highway 39.

Officials ask that residents avoid crossing Highway 39 from 16th Street, as this will have vehicles heading the wrong way on New City Garden Road.

The clinic will run each day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the former Ebel’s Contracting building at 1560 New City Garden Road, adjacent to Jerry Mainil Ltd.

The drive-through and walk-in clinics will be on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment is necessary, residents can attend at their convenience. Only those 55 years of age and older on the date of immunization will receive vaccine.
