The Weyburn Youth Council is hosting a fundraising event for KidSport Weyburn on Family Day, coming up on Monday, Feb. 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Youth Council, which works with Weyburn’s city council, is inviting the public to join them and the Weyburn Red Wings at the Outdoor Community Rink located at the corner of Second Street and Souris Avenue for an afternoon of skating.
For this special event, there will be a fire pit to keep warm and Youth Council will be collecting donations in exchange for hot chocolate and barbecued hot dogs.
