Wildlife Federation open house

A barbecue grill kept visitors supplied with hamburgers and hot dogs, while people could try out the sport of archery on a small archery range set up on the grounds of South Weyburn School on Saturday by the Weyburn Wildlife Federation. The group has taken ownership of the former school and property, located south of Weyburn on Highway 35, and hosted an open house there on Saturday, including providing information on archery lessons coming up in October at Queen Elizabeth School. Registration for the archery lessons will be on Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Queen Elizabeth School.
