City police investigate theft from a vehicle

The Weyburn Police Service received a report of the theft of property from a vehicle parked in the 10 block of 12 th Street on Sunday. The matter is still under investigation.

The Weyburn Police Service received a report of the theft of property from a vehicle parked in the 10 block of 12th Street on Sunday. The matter is still under investigation. The police urges residents to always lock their vehicle and remove any valuables that may be in plain view.

Weyburn police received a report of a stolen truck on Thursday. The vehicle was stolen sometime during the night. The vehicle description is a 2006 grey Dodge 3500 Mega Cab with a slip tank in the back, with Saskatchewan licence 774 KLW.

Weyburn police received a complaint regarding damage having been done to a vehicle window while the vehicle was parked in the 700 block of Rick Smith Crescent on Thursday.

Weyburn police received a complaint regarding threats being uttered towards an individual on July 16. As a result of the investigation, an adult male was arrested without incident. Due to the male already being before the court on other matters, he was remanded in custody.

City police responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision between a semi unit and car on Highway 39 near Third Street on July 17. As a result of the investigation, the driver of the car was charged with changing lanes before safe. There were no injuries.

Weyburn police received a call regarding a domestic family related assault that had occurred on Wednesday. As a result, a male was arrested without incident and is now facing a charge of assault.

City police received a call of a person having been unlawfully in a dwelling on Thursday. The matter is still under investigation.

City police received a complaint regarding an assault involving two male teens on Thursday. One teen received minor injuries requiring medical attention. The matter is still under investigation and charges are pending.

Weyburn police received a complaint regarding the theft of property from a business on Thursday. The suspect was identified and the matter was mediated to the satisfaction of the business.

City police received a complaint regarding the number of animals (cats and dogs) that was present on a property on Friday. Police received a report requesting a wellbeing check be conducted on an individual. As a result of the check the individual agreed to attend the hospital to see a doctor.
