Dorothy Frances Duthie, late of Weyburn, SK, passed away January 24, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents: William and Eva Hall; first husband James Duthie; daughter Marie; grandson Bill; son-in-law Dan Peel; brothers: Ray, Bert and Art and a sister Blanche Pfund. Dorothy is survived by her husband Sherwood Birrell; her children: David (Kathy) Duthie and their family: Jim and his daughter, Mira, Wendy Duthie; Marie’s son Troy (Jenn) and their children: [Kaili and Ty]; Myrna Peel and her family: Sarah (Mark) and daughter Julia, Guy (Kelly) and family [Haylee, Molly and Dan]; Dan (Marlene) and Dan’s children: Daniel (Nancy) and their daughter Lillian, Leah (Rick) and Marlene’s children; Marianne (Randy); Elaine (Dean) and Elaine’s children: Stephanie (Tyler) and Matthew; brother: Lloyd Hall (Shirley) as well as many nieces and nephews. A Service of Remembrance was held Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from Grace United Church, Weyburn, SK with Rev. M. Barnabas officiating. Luncheon was held at Upper Grace Hall, Weyburn, SK. Interment followed at Golden Gates Cemetery, Creelman, SK. For family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to an Organization or Charity of Donor’s Choice.
