Resident calls for actions in Wade Oberg case

To the Editor: The wheels of justice run slowly, and in the case of Wade Oberg, they have run true.

The wheels of justice run slowly, and in the case of Wade Oberg, they have run true.

After two failed court appearances, it is obvious that more careful consideration by the board is required prior to simply accepting decisions made by seemingly incompetent upper management.

All along I have felt that the decision to demote was based on some internal bias towards Mr. Oberg by certain members of the upper management team.

Unfortunately, individuals at the upper level of management do not seem to like having their decisions questioned. The arrogance shown by the board in continuing to try to justify a terrible decision has us where we are today.

Perhaps with the school year coming to a close, it is time the board made accountable those individuals involved in the original decision making.

The costs to be borne by the board as well as the embarrassment to all concerned is enough to constitute replacement of some, if not all, of the upper management team.

There is more than adequate time to vet any candidate applying for any administrative positions that are available prior to the new school year.

It is time that the school board of the Southeast Cornerstone Public School Division did what is right, fair and just.
