The Weyburn Beavers were on a record-breaking 16 game win streak and were looking to push it to 17 today in Swift Current against the 57's. Unfortunately, the 57's topped the Beavers 6-5.
The Beavers have a day off before returing to Tom Laing Park on Tuesday to host the Yorkton Cardinals. On Thursday, they will start a three-game home series against the Edmonton Prospects with all games starting at 7:05 p.m.
