Chamber members can get linked at annual golf tourney

Members and guests of the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce will be able to get “Linked On the Links”, at their annual golf tournament set for Thursday, Aug. 10 at the Weyburn Golf Course. Registration will take place at the golf course from 1 to 2 p.m.

Members and guests of the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce will be able to get “Linked On the Links”, at their annual golf tournament set for Thursday, Aug. 10 at the Weyburn Golf Course.
Registration will take place at the golf course from 1 to 2 p.m. The event includes a lunch on the greens and special challenges, and there will be a shotgun start at 2 p.m.
The golf will be a nine-hole round in a Texas scramble format. Following the afternoon of golf, there will be a steak supper at 5:30 p.m., with awards and prizes for the golfers.
The tournament cost is $300 for a team of four, or $75 for individuals. The fees include a cart rental, the steak supper and prizes.

The Weyburn Chamber will be hosting a “You’ve Got the Power to Save” breakfast seminar at the Weyburn Legion Vimy Room on Wednesday, September 13. Representatives from SaskPower will speak about energy efficiency programs. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m., followed by the presentation.
The Chamber also recently announced a China adventure, that they will be selling, that includes an 11-day tour of Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou during April 7 to 17, 2018. Details on both events will be in the Weyburn Review.
