Comp senior basketball teams at tournaments

The Comp Eagles Senior Girls basketball team traveled to Regina’s Balfour Collegiate this past weekend to play in their fourth tournament. The Eagles started their tournament off with a tough loss to Bishop James Mahoney 69-64.

The Comp Eagles Senior Girls basketball team traveled to Regina’s Balfour Collegiate this past weekend to play in their fourth tournament.

The Eagles started their tournament off with a tough loss to Bishop James Mahoney 69-64. Saturday morning the girls faced Regina Martin in a fight to go to the third place game. The Eagles came out on top 83-33.

On Saturday evening, the senior girls faced John Paul Crusaders to fight for third. The Eagles once again were victorious by a score of 71-59.

After the tournament, Arliss Sidloski was named as a tournament all-star. The Eagles are now off for the Christmas break with training sessions, and will return to action on Thursday, January 10, when they travel to Prince Albert.

The Comp Senior Boys travelled to North Battleford on the weekend.

The Eagles defeated North Battleford Comprehensive 62-46 on Friday and earned a berth into the championship game by beating John Paul II 80-73.

The boys faced a tough Lloydminster team in the final and couldn’t overcome a slow start. The Eagles finished with a silver medal after being defeated 85-67.
