The Weyburn Curling Club hosted the 116th edition of the Weyburn Men’s Bonspiel on Friday and Saturday, with many local and area rinks taking part.
In one of the matches on Saturday, the Hunter Labbie rink took on the Ray Herlick rink, and won by a score of 8-5, which advanced them to the third round, and the finals followed afterward on Saturday evening.
The Labbie rink included skip Hunter Labbie, third Michael Hom, second Austin Krupski and lead Gregg Wiens.
The Herlick rink included skip Ray Herlick, third Brian Woodard, second Justin Brown and lead Monte Arnott.
After the finals on Saturday evening, the winners of the Men’s Bonspiel were, A Event winners, Jamie Miller’s rink. The B Event winner was Jim Nikolejsin’s rink and the C Event winner was Jim Hill’s rink.
