The Weyburn Beavers are heading on an extensive road trip, where they will play against several Alberta-based teams. The Beavers will be in Medicine Hat for a doubleheader tonight, June 29, and Thursday, June 30.

The Weyburn Beavers are heading on an extensive road trip, where they will play against several Alberta-based teams.
The Beavers will be in Medicine Hat for a doubleheader tonight, June 29, and Thursday, June 30.
Then they will have a doubleheader in Lethbridge on Canada Day, Friday, July 2. They play Brooks on Saturday, July 2, before returning to Saskatchewan for games against Swift Current, Yorkton and Regina.
The Beavers were in Moose Jaw on Sunday, where they dropped a 12-9 decision to the Miller Express. Moose Jaw started with the lead with six runs, while the Beavers took two runs in the first inning and a run in the second.
Both teams scored a run each in the fourth inning. In the fifth inning, the Beavers scored once, and the Miller Express scored twice. In the sixth inning, the Beavers scored once, and Moose Jaw took the lead with three runs. Weyburn had three runs in the eighth inning.
Nick Dorcean was the starting pitcher. He had seven runs and eight hits in four innings.
While at Tom Laing Park, the Beavers won 6-1 over the Yorkton Cardinals on Saturday evening.
The Beavers had one run in the first inning, two in the third, and one in the fourth inning. The Cardinals picked up their only run of the game in the fifth inning. The Beavers closed out their lead with two runs in the sixth inning.
Ryan Johnson was the winning pitcher. He had one run off three hits during six innings.
The Beavers also hosted the Swift Current Indians on Friday night, losing 9-1 at Tom Laing Park.
Swift Current had one run in the first inning, five runs in the third inning, two in the sixth and one run in the seventh inning. The lone run for the Beavers was scored in the ninth.
Scott Beever started on the mound. He had eight runs scored off eight hits in five innings.
