Prestige Fight Club and various local businesses brought a mixed martial arts fighting event to the main stage at Crescent Point Place on April 13. Fighters from all over Canada, the U.S. and Brazil fought before a live pay per view audience as well as approximately 1,700 on the floor and in the stands. There were 17 fights on the card, with 12 on the main card.
In the Kids MMA exhibition demo (nine years old), Ryder Backlun faced off against Zachary Olson.
Results from non-exhibition matches show that Curtis Richard defeated Saviel Gettens daSilva in the first round at 2:59 by guillotine choke, Christian Olson defeated Caleb Ermine by unanimous decision and Ryan Rohovich defeated Weyburn's own Clint Mohan by KO at 2:58 in the first round.
Rob Nelson defeated Joe Collins by Tapout, Rear Naked Choke, in the first round at 2:00, Laine Keyes defeated Nick Grandbois by KO in the second round at 0:11, Haelle Smith defeated Michelle Massicotte by TKO, in the first round at 1:35, Neil Marley defeated Gage Becic by unanimous decision and Boston Salmon defeated Brad Campbell by unanimous decision. Maicon daSilva Lemmons defeated Wade Baldwin with a referee stoppage due to unanswered blows, round 2, 1:18, Travis Triskle defeated Lloyd Valley by KO at 0:11 in the first round, Brock Peters defeated Trevor Anderson by unanimous decision and Shai Lindsay defeated Zamir Safi by decision. Stephanie Essensa defeated Staci Vega by standing guillotine at the end of the first round, Dylan Jarhling defeated Devon Smith by TKO in the first round at 2:42 and won the 185 lbs belt. Khalil Azizi defeated Mitch Carlson by decision.
Overall the event was a huge success, keeping the all-ages crowd entertained for nearly five hours.
