This past weekend Kylie and Jacquie Van De Woestyne from Weyburn joined the players and coaching staff of the Swift Current United Under 19 girls soccer team at the 2020 SaskTel Soccer 4 Life Indoor Youth 6-Aside Provincials. Jacquie was part of the coaching staff and Kylie was one of the players.
The United won their opener 6-1 over the Kindersley Storm on Friday evening, they then tied the Meridian Rustlers 1-1 on Saturday and to close out the round robin, they defeated the Saskatoon Hollandia 1-0.
In the semi final they met the Moose Jaw FC and advanced with a 3-0 victory.
The United earned a victorious end after defeating the Meridian Rustlers 4-1 in the championship match to win gold.
