A group of highly skilled offensive players have received the SFMAAAHL's January Three Star Awards and Weyburn Southern Range Gold Wings' team captain Sara Spence won the second star of the month.

Spence is capping off a three year SFMAAAHL career in style with eight points in the month of January. She surpassed the 100 point plateau for her career earlier this month and currently sits in sixth place in the all time SFMAAAHL scoring race. Her veteran leadership helped the Gold Wings achieve two impressive victories over the Saskatoon Stars during the last week of January.

Teah Anderson of the Regina Rebels gets the nod for the first star of the month and Jaycee Gebhard, a 1997 forward with the Saskatoon Stars, received the third star.
