Friday was also Orange Shirt Day at Souris, with all of the students and staff wearing the orange shirts in commemoration of the First Nations children who attended residential schools.

She also visited St. Michael, the Weyburn Comp, Haig and Assiniboia Park Schools on Friday, sharing some of her challenges and lessons learned along the way since first trying out wrestling in Grade 9, until she made the Canadian Olympic team for the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She earned a gold medal for Canada in freestyle wrestling.

Wiebe will hold a free wrestling clinic for younger children on Saturday morning at St. Michael School, then will put on a two-day wrestling clinic for wrestlers who have registered through the Weyburn Wrestling Club on Saturday and Sunday.
